ABOUT

THREE CITIES ART CLUB

Three Cities Art Club is a group of artists and art lovers who meet monthly September through June in Plymouth, Michigan to share in informative workshops, presentations and demonstrations.  Everyone expands their skills and knowledge about drawing with pencil, charcoal, colored pencil and pastels; painting in oil, watercolor and acrylic; photography and other media.  Learn to create wonderful works of art and exhibit in art shows, enter in competitions for prizes and awards and, hopefully, sell art to collectors of fine art.  Three dimensional works in fiber, clay, wood, polymer, collage and the like may also be seen at some of our exhibitions. 

You may be wondering “What Three Cities?"  Well…over 50 years ago, some local artists got together to form the club and we think the three cities were Plymouth, Livonia and Northville.  Some say "Canton, Paris and Rome"!  We now call Plymouth and Westland our homes.  Both cities consider the club as their "official" art club. We welcome everyone, from anywhere, at any level of experience to join this fun group of art enthuists and share the gift of artistic expression. 

We are happy you found our site and hope you enjoy your visit. Come back often and buy some art or check out our events.  If you are local, please join us at our next meeting.  There is no charge to attend up to three meetings during which you are sure to learn something new, be reminded of something you had forgotten or not thought of for some time. You will get to see outstanding art, vote for your three favorite pieces in our Popular Vote competition.  Members bring one or two new pieces to each meeting to enter.  Winners receive ribbons and collect points which are added up at season’s end for cash prizes. 

Membership is only $30 per year and we promise to do our best to help get your creative energy flowing.
