About Three Cities Art Club

Originating from humble beginnings in the living rooms of a small group of artists, our club has flourished into a thriving community over the years. As our membership expanded, we now meet at the modern facilities of the Plymouth Library in 2019.

Guests are always welcome to join us for up to three meetings before deciding to become members. Our club offers a wealth of opportunities for learning, creativity, and camaraderie. With an affordable annual membership fee of $30, members gain access to a range of benefits, including discounts on art supplies, a monthly newsletter delivered via email, free professional demonstrations, presentations, workshops across various mediums, critiques of their work, and the chance to participate in art shows, with opportunities to sell artwork and compete for cash prizes.

Currently, our club boasts a membership of 66 artists hailing from diverse locales such as South Lyon, Chelsea, Ann Arbor, Belleville, and Milford. At our meetings, members have the opportunity to showcase their talents by bringing one or two new works for entry into our Popular Vote competition. Attendees can vote for their top three favorites, with winning artists receiving ribbons. Additionally, at the end of each season, cash prizes are awarded to those with the most total votes.

For those seeking further information about our club, specific members, or upcoming exhibitions, please don’t hesitate to contact our president, Marilyn Meredith. You can reach her via phone or text at 313-231-3939, or send her an email at [email protected].
